I am SO excited for you and know how incredibly fun this journey is and will be for you guys! It’s a magical time in your lives and it’s something to be cherished so soak it ALL up!!! I am excited to hear the story of your love, the proposal, and if you did or did not black out like I did during our proposal! You’re about to dive into the carefully planned planning and if I have one valuable piece of advice to give it’s the importance of your relationship with your photographer. Heather is amazing!! She was so easy to communicate with and is incredibly organized, which took a lot of stress out of the wedding day! Her talent for capturing the joy and emotion in both our engagement pictures and on the wedding day was far more than I expected! She also had an amazing turn around time, sending us sneak peeks almost daily, & had our whole portfolio finished in less than 3 weeks! I cannot recommend her enough!!

Heather was an amazing part of our wedding day! She worked so well with the videographer, was so organized, and really helped the picture-taking part of the day go so smoothly! Prior to the wedding we got to spend time with her at our engagement shoot and got a feel of how she works and how her pictures turn out! It gave us great confidence in her! She met with us at our church too so that I felt confident about where to take pictures. So day of and before the wedding she was amazing!
Once we got the pictures back, we loved her even more (if that's possible)! She captured exactly what we wanted, and I love how she edited everything! I could not recommend her enough! Her husband as her second shooter was amazing too and had some great ideas about how to capture different perspectives! LOVE HEATHER SO MUCH!

Heather and her husband are everything you could want in wedding photographers. Most importantly, they take amazing pictures that capture your personality and aesthetic perfectly. Also, they both have a calm and relaxing presence that puts everyone at ease and fosters a great time for all involved. My wedding photos came out better than I could have ever imagined. Not to mention she is flexible and super easy to communicate with. Also, she is direct when necessary (in a nice way) that allows you and your wedding party to enjoy the process, but she does not make you spend endless hours posing for photos. I enthusiastically recommend Heather Dettore! She is simply the best :)

There aren't enough words to describe how much we love Heather! She was incredible, from start to finish. Because of COVID, we didn't get to meet Heather until our engagement photo shoot, but we immediately got along. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and the shots she got were amazing!
We had a planning calls to decide any specific shots we wanted and the timeline, and I honestly couldn't have gotten a timeline done without her!
On our wedding day, she kept us all on time. You will never see Heather, or her second shooter and husband, Chase, with their cameras down. They got shots that we never expected, because they see everything that's happening! Sweet candid moment between father and son? Captured. Flower girls running around and grabbing bride's dress? Got it. Lighting just right through some bushes? Fairytale photograph coming up! I want Heather to photograph all of my life; she's that good!
On top of her top notch professional skills, Heather is just the sweetest, kindest, most organized person. She will be your friend through it all, and that support was so wonderful to have.

Heather and Chase were unbelievable to work with. Not only did ALL of our photographs turn out beautifully, they helped reduce the inevitable anxiety that can come with wedding planning along the way. On the day of the wedding, they were timely, professional, respectful and so much fun. Several bridesmaids and family members commented on how natural it felt to have them around throughout the wedding day - nothing was forced, but they managed to capture every photo and memory we could possibly want and more! I couldn't recommend these photographers enough if you want amazing photography and a smooth experience. Several friends and family even reached out to them after our wedding to see if they were available for theirs because they recognized how incredible of a job they had done, which I think says everything!
