Y’all, this couple was such a joy to photograph. Lindsay, a lover of all things modern, clean, simple and Martha Stewart, opted to have their session outside The Georgian Terrace Hotel in midtown Atlanta, Georgia.

Lindsay and Trevor met in 2011, their freshman year of high school, but didn’t start getting to know each other until the fall of 2012. Crushing hard on Trevor, Lindsay sent him her number via Twitter (as you did in 2012 ;)).

After a week of non-stop texting, the two went on their first date. The following weekend, they went to a North Cobb football game and as Trevor drove her home, Lindsay asked, “Are you going to ask me to be your girlfriend or not?” So direct! A girl after my own heart! 😉

Lindsay and Trevor became “official” after 10 days of talking to each other and the rest is history!

She loves Trevor’s kind, easy-going nature. Effortlessly talented at everything he tries his hand at. She melts in his green eyes. Being with him makes her feel like she’s the best version of herself.

He adores her smile and loves her contagious laugh that touches everyone around her. He knows he wouldn’t be where he is today without her in his life. Her caring nature puts him right at ease.

Both being UGA alums, a typical Saturday is spent watching sports, sports and more sports. Throw in a trip or two to their favorite Mexican restaurant and you’ve just described their favorite way to spend time together.

In August of 2019, 3 months before their 7 year anniversary, Trevor proposed with champagne and roses in the comfort of their own home. After the surprise proposal, they went for dinner and drove around Atlanta with gas station snacks, jamming out to their favorite music.

Lindsay’s engagement ring is a stunning emerald surrounded by diamonds on set on a gold band. I could stare at it literally all day… gorgeous, right?!

Contrary to how most people share their engagement news these days, Lindsay and Trevor focused on sharing the news with their VIPs in person. They traveled from Kennesaw, Ga to Clemson and to NYC in the course of a month, sharing their exciting news before it was ever mentioned online!

A balanced couple, he is the yin to her yang. A beautiful compliment to one another’s personality. A relationship that has evolved along with them as they move through the many changes that come with life as a 20-something. Always laughing.

Lindsay and Trevor will share their vows this December in Acworth, Georgia. I can NOT wait to get to photograph this lovely couple again with their families and friends!
