This beautiful wedding day took place in the historic district of Athens, Georgia, just under a mile away from the University of Georgia. (Go Dawgs!) The Taylor Grady House is a venue I’ve never photographed and let me tell you, it was a treat! Between the remarkable grand white columns, lush green gardens, elegant historic interior, incredible outdoor staircase that flows right into the reception, I was in photographer heaven!
We started our day at the fabulous home of a family friend, just a short drive away from The Taylor Grady House. When we arrived to start photographing Mary + Jack’s wedding day, I immediately was welcomed in by all of Mary’s bridesmaids. The home was buzzing with energy as we worked on photographing details, I just knew this day was going to be so much fun! Mary purposefully planned in extra time at the start of the day to spend having fun with her girls and I’m so happy she did! Mary and her girls were able to linger outdoors for a bit, pop some champagne, and soak in the excitement for Mary and Jack. The entire day had moments like these, it was hard to pick which ones were my favorite.
To Mary and Jack, I’m so grateful to have been a part of your beautiful wedding day! Thank you for welcoming us into your lives to spend this day with you. Congratulations again on an incredible wedding, we wish you both all the best as you begin this new and exciting journey together!
