Jenna and Conor’s summer wedding at Little River Farms in Alpharetta, Georgia was every bit romantic as it was exciting. This was my first time at Little River Farms and from the moment we drove up, I was in LOVE. The whimsical greenery, flowers growing up arch ways and spilling over top, an incredible reception space to host loved ones as they celebrate this momentous occasion. A beautiful haven to host a wedding.
Getting Ready at Little River Farms
The day started in the bridal suite. As soon as we walked in to begin capturing the day, I knew it would be the best day ever. The girls were hanging out in their nook of the venue while hair and makeup finished their final touches. Jenna chose six of the sweetest bridesmaids. Two of which were her sisters. Y’all know I love love love my family. Getting to photograph people who share a special bond with theirs is everything to me. From beginning to end, I could see how deeply important family was to Jenna and Conor.
Before Jenna met Conor for their first look, she shared a moment with her sweet dad on the front porch. There were tears shed, gifts given, and a few laughs in disbelief that his little girl is about to be a married woman. Nothing is sweeter.
Conor’s wedding attire became one of my favorite looks for a groom. Not to mention his boutonniere being *chefs kiss* perfect.
The First Look
Before she could even make it outside to her first look with Conor, Jenna was fighting back tears. This moment is so important to me. The cliche that the wedding day goes by too quickly is true. One way I try and help ground my brides before the first look is to remind them to take deep breaths. Notice the surroundings, take it all in and take your time. I also encourage couples to talk to each other before the reveal. I don’t know if it helps slow down the day at all but it sure makes for great memories.
Bride + Groom Portraits
After their first look, we had extra time budgeted for bride + groom portraits. We spent it wandering around the property and ended up with lots of great images.
Next, we spent time with the wedding party. Aren’t they stunning?! Jenna selected these gorgeous bridesmaid dresses from BHLDN and I was OBSESSED.
The Ceremony at Little River Farms
One thing about a summertime outdoor ceremony in Georgia is the heat. The ceremony site at Little River Farms having these gorgeous, simple umbrellas helped. They also add another touch of whimsy to the day. During their ceremony, Jenna and Conor had a small group of their immediate families come up and surround them in prayer. It was moving and there wasn’t a dry eye to be found.
The Reception at Little River Farms
It’s rare I see a piano used in the decor like this. Such an elegant touch.
The floral design at Jenna and Conor’s wedding was STELLAR.
Dogs are family too! Jenna and Conor made sure to include their fur babies in their wedding day with this drink menu at the reception.
