Kelly + Collin’s black tie wedding at Idle Hour Country Club was every bit elegant as it was dreamy. Idle Hour Country Club sits atop the rolling hills of a beautiful golf course in the heart of Macon, Georgia. Everything about their day was a dream come true. The team of people they selected to stand by their side, their sweet families, the stunning florals, the sunset over the golf course. It was a joy to be a part of and I’m excited to share pieces of their day with you!
Before leaving for the first look with Collin, Kelly shared a few moments with her father. Kelly’s mom watching with tears in her eyes said more than words ever could. The bond between Kelly and her parents remind me of my relationship with my parents. It was precious to witness.
Collin sported the coolest bulldog cufflinks. Go Dawgs! A classy tux paired with that bow tie was *chef’s kiss* perfection.
Cooper stopped in at the country club to see his parents on their wedding day. Coop stole our hearts (and the show, briefly).
Next, we spent time with their wedding party VIP’s.
Have I mentioned how much I adore this group of friends?! They were so much fun to spend the day with. They surrounded Kelly with lots of love and happiness and made sure she had everything she needed throughout the day. 10/10, girls!
Kelly was the most stunning bride I’ve ever seen! Also, her dress had pockets. Win!
Kelly and Collin were supported by their families. Both families were outwardly joyful for them, helpful in every way throughout the day, and were a dream to work with.
Kelly + Collin’s wedding ceremony was at the beautiful Vineville United Methodist Church in Macon, Georgia. Leading the ceremony was Kelly’s youth pastor, someone she’s remained close to. He included endearing stories about Kelly and talked about how he’s grown to know and love Kelly and Collin as a couple. It was a sweet ceremony.
After the ceremony, Kelly + Collin hosted their reception at Idle Hour Country Club. The view was one of the dreamiest I’ve ever seen. The large outdoor patio overlooked the 18th hole of the golf course. The colors of the sunset were flawless.
While guests enjoyed cocktail hour, Kelly + Collin had a little fun in a golf cart and took a few sunset portraits in between their ride.
If I could have bottled up this sunset, I would have in a heartbeat. The weather was perfect. The golf course was serene. Everyone felt relaxed and ready to dance the night away!
After sunset and bustling the dress, Kelly and Collin shared their first dance.
Guests were dressed to the nines to celebrate with the happy couple. The live band created the perfect setting to capture lots of fun shots throughout the night!
Finally, to conclude the evening, guests lined the sidewalk with sparklers in hand to say their farewell to the newlyweds.
Every single aspect of Kelly + Collin’s wedding day was perfect. From the exciting start at Kelly’s parents house to the sunset golf cart ride, everything in between and beyond made this the best day EVER. A big, big, big Thank you to Kelly + Collin for welcoming me into your lives and trusting me with these incredible memories! It was an honor to be a part of such a special event! I’m sure i’ll be gushing over your special day for a long time to come! xo
Finally, a huge thank you to the team of people who helped bring this day to life!
