Alexis and Jason were married on May 18, 2019 at The Atrium in Norcross, Georgia. Immediately I was SO excited that Alexis had asked me to capture their wedding since The Atrium is where Chase and I were married in May of 2017. This venue had a special place in our hearts and I was honored to be asked to capture their wedding day and make it just as special as ours was.

Alexis opted to wear her mother’s wedding dress with slight modifications. Nearly 30 years ago to the day, Alexis’ mother wore this dress. It was the only wedding dress Alexis tried on. She fell in love with it the moment her father pulled it out of the box it was preserved in and knew right away it was the one she wanted to wear on her wedding day.  

“To me, using my mom’s dress is a tribute to my parent’s marriage. I have gotten the privilege to watch them put in the
hard work to have a happy, successful, loving marriage. They
continue to live out their vows they promised themselves and
the Lord: “for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in
sickness, and in health”. They have always taught us to be
leaders and what better way than to lead by example.” –  Alexis
