As an Atlanta, Georgia wedding photographer, Westside Provisions is becoming a favorite spot of mine for engagement portraits.

Jessi + Craig met in 2011, their freshman year of college and immediately hit it off. He played baseball and she played softball. She loved his eyes, he loved her booty. She also loved his booty. A match made in heaven, as it were. 😉 Their first date was grabbing a bite to eat at Zaxby’s after ball practice.

Craig loves her easy going nature and how game she is for trying new things. Jessi can’t get enough of him and his steadfast love in her life. True best friends until the end.

In June, the two traveled 4,370 miles to Paris for Jessi’s brother’s wedding. Their first week in Paris they focused on Jessi’s brother, Will, and his then fiancée, Marion. After their wedding, Jessi + Craig spent a few days vacationing in Normandy.

Once they’d seen all that Normandy offered, they traveled back to Paris to meet Jessi’s brother and wife for a tour of the Eiffel Tower. The day started as every morning had…with espresso and baked bread from the bakery. (I mean, come on! I feel like i’m writing the greatest romance novel ever right now!) 

The group met Will and Marion at the Eiffel Tower. But, before starting the tour, Marion pointed everyone to the perfect place for a picture of the tower. Excited to get this picture, Jessi rushed ahead of everyone and started snapping away. Once everyone caught up, Jessi’s mom played it cool and kept Jessi distracted while Craig got the ring ready.

Once Craig walked over to her, they turned to take a picture, only to see her entire family was lined up like a group of tourists. Still having no clue what was about to happen, she started laughing at them when Craig turned her around and kissed her. Still not realizing what was going on, Craig said, “I love you and I will love you forever…” Jessi blacked out and started crying after he started talking. However, she does remember that he took the biggest steps backwards, saw the box and turned to her family in complete shock. Before she even said yes, Jessi started jumping up and down, celebrating this moment. The rest of the day was blissful.

On her best days and on her worst days, Jessi knows she can always count on Craig. When she grabs 6 cookies and can only eat 4, he’s there to eat the other 2 for her, for instance. An absolute dream come true.

It’s so easy to see how much they adore each other…

Jessi + Craig, you were an absolutely joy to get to know and work with and I can’t wait to see you both again on your wedding day in June!
